Signing in and your account

You sign in with Google. There is no Papped password to forget, and no separate account to create.

Why Google specifically

Because the photos go to your Google Drive. Signing in with the same account that owns the Drive folder is what makes "the photos are already yours" true rather than a promise. See your Drive for exactly what Papped can and cannot touch.

Signing in and connecting Drive are two separate steps. You will be asked for Drive access the first time you reach your events, not at sign-in, so you can look around first.

If sign-in does not go through

Almost always a blocked popup or a Google account that is signed in somewhere else in the same browser. Try again in a normal window rather than a private one, and check which Google account the browser is defaulting to.

Your account menu

Top right of your events list. It holds:

• Your Pap Coins balance. What it is and how it is spent: Pap Coins.
• Organizer guide. This guide. It stays there permanently, so you do not have to remember a URL.
• Sign out.

Student and corporate rates

These need a verified email address on that domain, and you verify it inline while creating an event rather than from the account menu. Once verified it stays verified for every later event. See creating an event.

Referral codes

If you arrived through someone's referral link, the code is picked up at sign-up. You can also enter one on the sign-in screen. What it is worth to both of you: refer and earn.
