Review tab
Photos and video clips that were held back, waiting on your call. Every clip stops here before the room sees it; photos join the queue when screening holds one or when approval mode is on. An empty Review tab is the normal state and means screening is doing its job.
Waiting for you
If you turned on Approve photos before guests see them, this section sits at the top of the tab. It is not a safety queue: nothing is wrong with these photos, you are just deciding when the party sees them.
Tap photos to pick some, or use Approve all to release everything at once. Approving two hundred one at a time is not a thing anyone will do, so the button covers the whole queue, not just the page you are looking at.
Keep private is the other answer. It settles a photo without showing it to anyone: the queue clears, and we stop reminding you about it. It does not delete anything. The photo stays in your Drive exactly as it is.
Changed your mind? It leaves this queue by design, so look under Hidden from guests in the Gallery tab, select it, and choose Show to guests.
After the event we email you about anything still undecided, at most three times over the following week, and only while something is actually waiting. Clear the queue and the emails stop. When the week is up we stop asking, but nothing happens to the photos: they are yours, they are in your Drive, and you can approve them whenever you like.
Everything below this is the safety queue, which is a different question.
What lands here
Two things:
- Held for review. Automatic screening was not confident about the photo.
- Reported by a guest. Someone at your event flagged it from their own gallery.
If you are approving photos before guests see them, the first of those two stops happening. Nothing needs holding aside when every photo is already waiting on you, so a borderline shot goes to Waiting for you at the top of this tab instead, and this section only ever fills up with guest reports.
Nothing here has reached your Drive yet. That is the point: a held photo is stopped before it becomes something you have to clean up.
What you can do
- Return it to the gallery. It goes through to your Drive as normal and appears under the Flagged-then-approved filter in the Gallery tab, so the decision stays visible. If you are also approving photos before guests see them, this counts as that approval too: you have looked at it, and we are not going to ask twice.
- Reject and delete it. It is gone. Nobody receives it.
Held photos expire
A held photo waits 48 hours. If you have not looked at it by then it expires on its own rather than sitting in limbo forever.
That is a real deadline worth knowing about: during a busy event, the Review tab is not urgent, but it is not indefinite either. Checking it the morning after is usually enough.
If a photo will not load
If the tab says your Drive is unavailable, the connection needs reconnecting before you can act on anything. See your Drive.
