How to collect wedding guest photos with a QR code

Print one QR code per table. A guest points a phone at it and a camera opens in the browser, with no app to install and no account to make. Every photo they take is screened and lands in your Google Drive as it is taken, and in a shared gallery the whole room can watch fill up.

Each guest gets a limited roll, like a disposable camera, so people frame a shot instead of holding down the shutter. Larger events come with a bigger pool to share, and you can grant more on the night.

Launch the event a week ahead, print the poster from the Overview tab, and ask the host to mention the code twice. The full walkthrough is in the guide.

A disposable camera app for events, without the app

The disposable camera worked because of the limit. Papped keeps the limit and drops everything else: the developing, the lost cameras, the download. The camera is a page in the phone's browser, opened by scanning a code.

Photos are screened before they appear, video clips wait for your approval, and the originals land in your own Google Drive rather than on our servers. When the event ends you already have everything.

It works for weddings, birthdays, house parties and offsites, on iPhone and Android alike. Small events are free; larger ones are one payment by guest count.
